I had to do this when I ran a old game shop with a friend. Thankfully I didn't screw it up

I had to do this with my copy of Donkey Kong Country (SNES) before. Sure it's not as clean a solution as using a soldering iron but it's simple and it works. Very well done and informative video man!

Dude, I totally thought this was about changing out the 4 AA's on a DMG-01 - I was thinking OMG, how old am I?? I mean, I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find someone older than me. =^^=

I don’t recommend this. Prying the old battery puts strain on the traces which can actually rip them from the game board, not to mention it’s not a secure connection. If you don’t wish to learn how to solder you can get someone locally to do the job for you and it should not cost more than $10 as it takes about 3 minutes to do. Soldering is super easy to learn just takes a bit of practice.its actually easier to solder in a new battery than to use this method.
