Hip thrusts, hyperextentions, or maybe even RDLs or Bulgarian split squats if they feel ok for you (I personally do them with 60° scoliosis and it feels amazing), hope it helps you💪

By the way thank you so much, theres is a lot pf content from “specialist” but they are either too lame and don’t help at any way, or the people who make the routines are normal and they really don’t know the struggle we have to face :((

Maaaan, I’ve been searching you my whole life. It’s so difficult to find a decent routine when you tell your trainers “I have scoliosis” and they treat you with fear and only give you lame exercises. Please, I need a routine for abs 😞

Ive dealt with severe scoliosis 4 years ago the chronic pain sucks more than anything but it’s helped me build discipline and learn to not let the pain discourage me from what i want to do with my life. Im a 19 year old mechanic and i love working on cars and the back pain doesn’t help but the pain isn’t as bad from getting used to it but i quit high school sports because of it and the gym has helped me alot i still deal with the pain but its made me who i am today. I totally understand about the pain and scoliosis taking away what i want to do with my dreams and ambitions
@mafiaxivАй бұрын
I needed this, been going to the gym for about two years, but lately i’ve got anxiety about my scoliosis, I started thinking that i may be making my spine curve increase or get worse (note that i’m careful in the gym and i only do exercises that have back support and never deadlift) but after watching you and seeing your body you’ve inspired me and pushed me out of my fear to continue. May god bless you.
@snowcowАй бұрын
I totally understand if you don’t want to answer this, but, what is stopping you from getting surgery? I know spinal fusion comes with its downsides but there’s also methods like ASC (anterior scoliosis correction) that are minimally invasive and don’t hinder mobility.
@education728116 күн бұрын
asc surgery is experimental and high failure rate/prelude to fusion. He is past skeletal maturity by now which makes it even more not viable. Either way, surgery or not you cant get into the seals team with this condition or fusion.

I have pretty bad scoliosis so your channel is pretty inspirational man thanks for the videos! :) Do you recommend against OHP? I've been doing it and it feels a little uncomfortable but not too bad, I want to keep doing it but idk how bad it is as far as spinal compression goes vs dumbbell shoulder presses
@scoliosisathletics3 ай бұрын
It’s not great, I’d recommend doing it on an incline bench so it’s not directly loading the spine, that will be better.

Very important video, thanks for help. I got chest imbalance, one is formed as a square, meanwhile the other is more long in form, because of lower pecs. If I do the exercises u named in the video, does it fix the problem by itself? Or do I need to do something with it?

It won’t “fix” it but the imbalances will improve over time with consistency. Hope this answers your question! DM me on instagram if you need any help!

Good question, it’s definitely a lot safer if it’s minimal, but it will still compress your spine and make your scoliosis worse over time.

I’ll just say thank you for creating your channel, I can tell you’ve done your research and are passionate about it. Us with scoliosis are prone to hurt ourselves much more than someone with spine issues. I wish I had find more info when I was younger. I have learned a lot myself, first by understanding what is scoliosis, and how it impacts my body, my general health, my breathing etc… My advice to anyone with scoliosis is to understand your own body, know where are your curvatures, know which muscles are underused and which ones are overused. And breathing exercises helped me greatly ( I know it’s a common issue with scoliosis)

Body weight dropped to 42, started the gym March 2023, and I've been going great since. Up to 64kg, and I've found it really helpful. My brother also has scoliosis, so i've gotta recommend this channel to him. You're looking great bro. Scoliosis doesnt have anything on you.
