Is it possible to be misdiagnosed with hypothyroidism when you have menopause?
@xpandhealth4 ай бұрын
Thank you for asking. Thyroid and menopausal hormone changes definitely interact. I am not a doctor but I have first hand knowledge of cases where menopausal hormone changes impacted the thyroid function. The particular people ended up having to really fine tune HRT doses and thyroid meds in conjunction with supplements. It took them a while to figure out the right amount. I recommend to find a doctor that specializes in menopause or/ and a doctor that has a more holistic and/or integrative approach to thyroid disfunction. They are usually more knowledgeable about hormones than traditional doctors. Hope this helps. Keep at it.

@xpandhealth4 ай бұрын
Sorry to hear. Unfortunately, there is no ONE thing that will help it all. It is a journey to navigate through. Maybe sleep needs to be addressed with other habits and strategies. Check out kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZ-XpY1tob6Knq8 for improving sleep. I highly recommend tracking. I personally use the Oura ring (no affiliation). It is very accurate. I still wake up most nights but have figured out which strategies help me fall asleep faster again at that time. Keep trying new strategies and track what works for you. Hope this helps.

Sorry my point is like most companies are just meant to make money for themselves and keep themselves afloat. From what I gather, they don't really care too much about their employees once the bottom line is threaded

I've never worked in a company from but from the outside in a lot of these companies are hierarchies of bullies HRS will cover up for CEOs s and don't tell me no because you have to have a special lawyer just to come back these kind of workplace Injustice, I've heard so many stories of employees almost getting shafted and just steam rolled over and if it wasn't because they had kept logs of what they fed with their bosses. If it wasn't for that text exchange, they would have never been able to sue their bosses for any kind of compensation. So from what I learned is one don't trust HR to document everything and three always have an exit strategy. I'm not even in any kind of interesting that I would need those kind of things to know of and I know them

Wish we had been smart like that. I worked way too hard and for not nearly enough compensation at earlier companies that took advantage.
