@@wmgmusicgroupstart with the liquid for 4-6 minute then open the vapor. Turning the indoor fan ON will also speed up the recovery

Why the need to invert the cylinder?

Forces liquid refrigerant through the suction tube which is wider and will allow the liquid to mix in with liquid better and keep your tank cooler and speed up recovery. This is the way I perform mine and I rarely have to use ice too keep my tank cool
