Pour over back of spoon to alleviate air bubbles, only mix w metal, heat glass in oven before pouring. Yes you can make gel candles without bubbles. You also pre dip embeds w cc clear gel before you put then in , heat top w hairdryer for top bubbles

You can get rid of all bubbles! This video misses some details which are important to avoid so many bubbles.

The best way would be majority good scent with intermediate layers of the bad scent. It would just be.... Sudden bad smell, then the nice smell again. This repeats. Insidious!

I’m aiming to use gel wax with some clay (plasticine) for a stop motion project. I was going to do a test today and attempted to melt down a small amount to see how it interacted w the clay. I put it on med-high and began steaming within minutes. I pulled it off the stovetop and a fire ignited and was extremely volatile even during the three seconds it took me to frantically run it outside. Thankfully I was able to dump it in some wet grass. Thought I was going to burn our house down. Be careful out there yall. With that said, what did I do wrong? Too small of an amount on too high a heat?

Very nice.Also if you are worried about a fire hazard you could always transfer the image onto a wax candle that has been hollowed out had a battery compartment and faux flame added 😊

But your mould will make a solid part, as you did not allow room for the inside jar. You could allow the silicon to go inside the jar. :)

So it's wax not soy or wooden wicks? Do you make candles that don't release carcinogens and parabens. I love candles I have always loved them but When I was diagnosed with cancer they warned me about the wax and wicks ect.. I'm curious if you could make one for me

I make candles as well and if I were to use this technique I'd use a smaller wick so it wouldn't burn all the way to the edge causing it to tunnel but keeping the picture intact and not catch fire. Maybe not even wick it all the way through so when it burned out it could then be used to burn votives or tealights in.

Just kidding: shouldn't it be 'wax lego pieces' instead of 'lego wax pieces'? Seriously this is very cool.
