Do you think that soy wax 415 could make good wax melts, if we add stearic acid to it? And if you think so what could be the percentage of stearic acid?

If you were using 6006, would 1 oz. per pound be enough for a good wax melt? I just needed to make a few melts for a customer, so I used 6 ounces of wax and .05 oz. FO. Do you think that will be strong enough?

Hi there Tim can you please tell me how Much wax you used. In this video also if someone only has 1oz bottles of fragrance but they don’t want to use the whole bottle on one batch of candle melts how are you recommend to do the fragrance.

Barrie Kleinert rule of thumb is you need 10% fragrance oil in your wax. So even 8oz of Wax you need .8 oz of fragrance oils. So you get very little amount of wax from .5oz of fragrance oil. My suggestion is just make it in one batch even though you don’t want to, I know they are expensive but your not going to get anything out of half a batch of 1oz fragrance oils. So for 1oz of fragrance oil you would want 10oz of Wax that’s 10% fragrance load.
