What about adding stearic for clamshell? I don't think snobs here will like cups :(
@jillgross5435 жыл бұрын
Mix some bees wax in with your 464 and you can put them in clam shells. That's what I use to give the 464 some body to it without compromising the purity of the soy wax!

Hi Tim what you think about using this wax for scoopable and squeezable wax melts because of the softness?

Hi Tim, the only issue I see with the single-use cups is recycling. Can you get ones that can be recycled? I have seen a company in the UK called Cozy Candles that use these single-use cups as samples and then a larger container that looks the same for their full size melts. One thing they said to me about how you use their melts is that you can scoop the product out of the container and put on melter.....so would that be something like a 464 wax that you could do that with?

Like your channel Tim, as always well worth watching. A quick question though. How do you tackle cleaning the plastic jug. Cheers from the U.K.

Is 444 better for molds? I have always been told 464 was great for molds. I agree with you. I don't like it. But about to try 444.
@Meredith4715 жыл бұрын
I use 444, but I add beeswax to it. I still get frosting, but they do pop out of the mold and clamshells without a problem. For 1 lb of 444, I use 2 oz of beeswax and that gives it the perfect firmness. The darker you want to make the color, the more chance of frosting.
