Often it seems higher ups don't take the warnings seriously unless they absolutely trust the person and that person has a history of being right all the time. Then they seem to take notice.

yeah that's NPCbots and they fucking blow. You can't even /who them. They're like spawned GROWTHS that don't even appear that they belong in the world. I used them in azerothcore before I found playerbots. Anyone else want to LIE on my channel? We here at nirvgorilla have high standards. Your WSL, NPCBots, and docker bullcrap aren't going to make it, JIM.

No kidding. But it blows. I'm using it right now in both Windows 10 and Windows 11 and it has horrible input lag. I don't have a high framerate camera, but someone needs to record video of it. It's like 300ms latency at LEAST which is what I had in 1997 when I played Saturn Bomberman over the 28.8 Sega Saturn NetLink modem. It's atrocious, and how dare you people keep coming to my channel and vying for terrible software with terrible input lag?

@@MisterCOM you can't tell when something has input lag? I can. That's why I don't like wireless anything. A lot of things feel so sluggish. the cmd window in Windows feels sluggish compared to putty. Putty has been around for years. It's SOLID.

@@MisterCOMhow new is this new windows terminal? Because I tried it in the latest iot and enterprise builds of windows 11 and it still blows. Like I said - someone needs to high framerate record that shit to prove it. I can see it and feel it but then again, up until KZbin enabled 60fps videos, like 85% of people online would say the human eye can't see more than 30 fps, so subjective experience means little to me these days. I like science and proof.

Yup it's been back up for over 30 minutes. Sorry about that! It's my web server and it's more permanent than shitty pastebin. Pastebin blows by comparison. They actually delete things all the time and block SO many pastebins. They didn't used to do that. It was just a small letsencrypt ssl certificate hiccup. Calm down.

About the deadlock error you're seeing; Have you tried asking ChatGPT for help? The newest version is actually very helpful with stuff like this! I dont know crap about SQL myself so be careful, but i had the same issue as you and gpt solved it for me by adding 2 things to my /etc/mysql/my.cnf file; [mysqld] innodb_lock_wait_timeout = 50 max_connections = 2000 Here's what GPT said; "The error you're encountering is a common issue in database transactions where two transactions are waiting for each other to release locks, leading to a deadlock. This is specifically an error related to MySQL or MariaDB. Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve this issue:" And it lists off several things that you can try.. but after editing my cnf file and restarting mysql it seemed to have solve most of the deadlock issues you see there! Its just happening because playerbots is trying to pour in too much data all at once.. but as i said, again i dont know shit so i could be wrong :P Figured i'd share what i found..GL tho!

I think so for wotlk, yes. For vanilla? No. For Vanilla there is "vmangos" but I never installed it.

You don't need a "vps." You can install it on your own machine or do what I did, install it on my server machine in the living room. :) Who needs a VPS when you can do it yourself? Pay once; own it. Really own it.

Okay, well rather than throw away money "renting" computers, save up and buy one. Never rent - own. I never believed in renting software or computer stuff. You only need a case, motherboard, cpu, memory, and a fast hdd like a Samsung Pro 980 NVME SSD. That's it. You don't even need a monitor, keyboard, mouse, or video card for it! Get at LEAST a 16 core CPU and you're solid.

Total data hoarder, has a copy of his quake 2 folder exactly as it was, seems to have done some q2 demo editing (judging from the keygrip2 directory)... I'm starting to wonder if we're the same person lol (we're definitely not your stuff looks way more organised). Quake 2 was actually the first game that got me into trying different 3rd party bots (because I didn't have internet, so I'd download stuff like that on school internet and take it home on floppies). I remember trying one that simulated a neural net and would learn to play (very slowly). Funny how things have kinda come full circle with my wow server populated with bots.

Speak slow? This is a day. That there is the SUN. It so it seems like you have a very old single care 32-bit CPU. If you have a 64-bit cpu, then you have the wrong operating system installed. That or you don't have Virtualization enabled in your BIOS. AMD-V. Or whatever. Look into it. I'm not tech support. I'm just a gamer.

1:19 - Backing up character and account databases for my azerothcore server using HeidiSQL. 14:56 - Running a custom playerbot database cleansing sql file for the first time. It's slow but seems to work, and does not delete any human character data - only bots! 49:07 - building proxmox (Linux) pc
