The vmangos developers told me on discord yesterday that you can sort of run with bots but it's not fully-fledged like Azerothcore.

Vanilla: Restricted to level 60.
Burning Crusade: Level 70 and Blood Elf character access.
Wrath of the Lich King: Level 80 and Death Night access

1. Log into your Debian Linux terminal
2. Type "wow" and press enter (so long as you followed my guide, you will have this command)
3. Paste or type GM commands here to create account and set addon

This was just a very small list of GM commands. Read the above link to find more. There are hundreds.

The server stuff you have been posting (I realize this is older) is AWESOME! Id buy you a beer! I'm building a linux server (non VM) an old PC with the help of your tutorials and will lock it down to vanilla for a bit just to play around (it's my favorite). I get to play vanilla and learn seom Linux

Setting xpac level only serves to emulate Official server behavior of barring content based on purchased content. Instead See: mod-progression-system and mod-individual-progression The former I believe is server wide. The latter is per character. The product is the result of Chromiecraft's progressive content development, and I am unsure if that means things like spells, talents, NPCs are balanced per progression stage, or if it is all simply emulating wotlk 3.3.5 numbers. But one of these would be a far better option for a 'simple' makeshift 'vanilla' server on azerothcore.

Careful. If you try individual progression and then try summoning bots to onyxia 60, GOOD LUCK. They won't go in - even with the amulet.

Yeah here's a video on how to install TrinityCore Catacylsm in Linux. I never did it before so don't ask me if it's good or not. I just found it using google. There are tons of projects out there. Not sure of bots though. I don't think so though. Maybe some other version of bots that aren't as good as playerbots. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iHPEaIaQlp2Goac

can i manipulate all bot accounts on the database to have addon = 0 ?

@@Painbow9553 my 1000 bots still can create bloodelf, i would like to set the bots on addon = 0 = vanilla and with servermaxlvl = 60 hope that they will not teleport to BC Hellfire, any ideas ?

@@indynoh there is a new command as of yesterday in the config. I do not know what it does exactly. # Enable expansion limitation # Default: 1 AiPlayerbot.LimitEnchantExpansion = 1 But you can modify the worldserver config to lock to an expansion. Not sure if bots follow.
