Do you have any more info on cross signalling?? It's a concept i can relate to personally but i can't find any more information about it.... I've never heard of it before

I think that like the modern royal marines, the modern Rangers can trace their capabilities back to the British Army commandos of WWII? Pretty sure they underwent army commando training and took part in raids, even before the US entered the war.

Do you still recommend the 3 days of lifting and 3 days of running program in your previous videos?

Transitioned to barefoot about 10 years ago and although it took a bit of time for my Achilles to lengthen it was fairly easy. It’s hugely strengthened my feet and posterior chain. Will never go back to ‘normal’ shoes ever again.

Hi mate. Im sorry if this isnt in the right place but I'm curious what shoes you're set on for running on pavement and lifting heavy these days? I see you have a wealth of experience so would be grateful if you're happy to share. Cheers!

Lol yet millions of Africans walk barefoot over rocky harsh ground. In South Africa when I was in school you played rugby barefoot from primary school in winter at temperatures below zero. It's only in high school where you have to wear rugby boots for the first time.

Merrell vapor glove user. Transitioned by wearing for all activities excluding intense running until comfortable in the day to day. No longer need orthotic support for collapsed arches, shin splints are gone and my toes splay to a point that the bunion on my right foot is no longer painful.

Thank you for sharing your story. I feel for your friend but I can't help worrying about you. You are carrying a lot of pain that takes many forms (shame, remorse, anger, numbness etc) and I think you should get some help in order for you clarify and lighten your burden. Unprocessed feelings get heavier with time and can lead to depression episodes.

Hi jim, I'm currently 15, and over the next couple years, I'm going to train to join the royal marines. I appreciate this video as i was stuck on how to efficiently train. Thank you for this guide, mate!

Pansy! I can't wear regular shoes anymore. I have the adidas bounce something shoe, and they hurt me now, barefoot shoes don't. That's because my feet have adapted to being barefoot, so just take your shoes off.

Those toe shoes are NOT barefoot shoes. Barefoot shoes have a zero drop, wide toe box and usually very flexible. Also there supposed to cause some discomfort in the begging, what do you think is gonna happen when you spend the majority of your life walking on padded little cloud shoes. So did you actually try barefoot shoes? You said you e tried it 3 times I sure hope you didn’t try those dorky toe shoes 3 times then just dismiss it as all barefoot shoes suck.

Also stop doing excrcise! One day i decided to get up off the sofa and do a mega hard workout without trying to slowly progress first. Afterwards my body was all sore and in pain. Dont exercise, its bad for you!

I switched over to barefoot shoes about 18 months ago and I love them but honestly it's not the end of the world if you don't wear them. It's such a cult like following

There's an acclimation peridod and even afterward you're going to be sore after a whole day on your feet but it goes away after you wake up the next day

Iam so sorry to hear of your friend death .iam really disgusted that your friend had to suffer and there wasn't any one from the forces to get to these young men before they leave because of what they had gone through in the wars .but please please don't blame yourself there wasn't anything you could have done .it's the professional people who should have helped him .he was to far gone in his mind and I know how your a family a team you have each others back my dad was in the Coldstream Guards 💂♀️ and my Husband was in the Royal Artillery so I know about the stiff upper lip and because your a man you keep everything to yourself even more so being in the forces .I thank you so much for your courage and what you are doing to raise money for such a worthy cause 👏 good luck my friend

Why would you ruin your ankles and knees and hips by running on pavement. Been wearing wide toe shoes and adequate cushion, no cero drop no hookas. Never ran in my life in my life unless I have too. Do a job that is active, walking almost 8 hour shifts. Never had any issues whatsoever with my feet. Take care of your joints, you only have two sets of each and the best surgeon in the world with the best tools and technology can't make them what they were originally if you mess them up.

Humans are designed by birth to run barefoot. It hurts because you aren’t used to it. Shoes are a crutch.

For every 5 videos talking how bad barefoot shoes are there thousands of comments people saying how amazing changing to barefoot shoes is and hundreds of videos talking about how to transition and make the change now! I am changing to barefoot shoes today!!

Running is a skill. Trying to "transition" should be fast and easy. If it takes a long time or your body is getting worse, you are spending too much time trying to run (likely not much differently than in traditional ankle breakers) and not enough learning to run. Once you learn the skill and technique, it's a game changer. Although it took myself more time than it should have. I was a slow learner and stubborn. But it's like clay shooting with a shitgun versus long range shooting with a rifle. The what and how is vastly different

weak feet = pain it’s not a one and done… let’s say you haven’t used your arm muscles ever in your life, then if you all of the sudden start using your arm, sure it’s gonna hurt. you have to TRAIN your feet in the right environment to actually get rid of pain in the long run. so increase barefoot use gradually, and the transition will be unnoticeable.
