Hey friend! I'm sorry you're not happy with the little shorts. Truth is that KZbin likes to promote my content in those tiny little blocks, so they end up doing better than longer shorts. The full videos are all available on my channel if you want to see all the content at once! Thanks.

Super 8 mm used to be a perfect format for home movies. Professional films were always shot on 16 or 35 mm film. Releasing an amateur camera that costs more than 3 BlackMagic Ursas - which have been used professionally - is ridiculous.

the fact that you compared a VND to solid square filters is just mind boggling... VND's are notorious of being shite for color shifting and X pattern darkening because they're 2 CPL's put together, not actually an ND glass.

Personal experience. The 24-105 2.8 is SHARP. Not just a little. It’s very very sharp. I used to think the same way until I put one in my hands. Now I’m saving for the 24-105 2.8, RF 70-200 2.8, and 100-500. I’ll just rent wide when necessary.

I was recently lifted a pair of studio lights and the Pocketwizzard plus ii. I can't wait till start using the strobes. I need to learn the works of this, but looks straight forward. I'm glad it's a good set up !!!

My dad used to do this to repair canvas or leather. He was fast so never learned how to do the stitch. I can now repair the seam that split in my rear car seat. Thx

Hi, Im currently using both the Sigma 24 - 70 Art mark I and the sony 24 - 70 GM mark I. Im currently not looking for an upgrade and gonna sell one lens. The Sigma produce sharper image but the GM is a tad quicker at focusing and more of a naitive glass. What do you thinks, what should i keep ? Thank you !!
@DOPJoshDiaz10 күн бұрын
Personally, I like the Sigma in that matchup. Best of luck!

Strange I found this video, because I found out about pocket wizard with the 358 lightmeter I purchased last week. It has the insert that works with pocketwizard Then today I picked up a used laptop bag that had been previously used as a camera bag. Inside one of the zipper pockets, was a pocketwizard modelMC-2 EINSTEIN 340-354Mhz I'm just trying to figure out how to make this work with my Canon r6 any suggestions

I love my m50 mk1 with the lenses they produced covering all focal lengths to try and do everything + super light and small system is what win me over. EF-M lenses price was also amazing for 1 pro lens I could buy almost 3 ef-m lenses that's a great value but... The Big problem is I was told that Canon is big solid company and their lenses doen't loose on value it's like investment I can sell and buy bigger one if I decide ... so I went full into EF-M mount just to see prices are off the cliff... who does this... If they don't want to invest and make new EF-M lenses ok but make a new body so we can use equpiment we bought over years... but no, they won't do it and I dont' know why... those RF lenses are so expensive it's out of the question to even consider staying with canon in future ... seems like they go screw small hobbyist and focusing on overexpensive pro rich customers that is exact opposite of what canon-M series was - at leat that's how I feel about it

Actually, the word among photographers is that the Pocket Wizard is much more reliable than the cheaper Chinese versions. I'd rather pay more and have the ability to finish a photo shoot.

Thank you Brother. I was on the list and received a notification from B&H saying, “As an early enlistee you’re receiving this email letting you know that your camera is ready for order. Failure to do so before Wednesday 19th June, (two days from now) will result in you losing your spot!” After seeing this review, you’ve just saved me $5,500!! Thanks again for the dose of reality.

I have 4 of the Plus III transceivers and when it comes to setting up a remote camera, at the finish line of a track event, for example, there is nothing that performs like PocketWizard. This is such a great product and I truly hope they get through the difficulties they are having. I still hold out hope of getting a couple of the new, unreleased, Plus Ve transceivers.

What happened? Two companies happened with these products and inspired others - Canon’s 600exRt, and Profoto’s D1 Air.

I have a Profoto D4 2400 pack that has PW's 32-channel zone system builtin. Since all lighting control is at the D4 pack near the camera, all that's needed is the PW's trigger functionality. Remote control via wireless has become popular since the advent of lithium monolights. Having remote control of monolights keeps people off ladders. Pack & head systems don't benefit so much from remote control. All they need is sync.

nice tips, i miss the old cameras that you beat the hell out of them and were like new, this camera is superb but soft as fuck

Those cameras are still around, this just isn't one of them. It may just come with the territory of building a small point and shoot with a leaf shutter.

Front Heavy?
@DOPJoshDiaz26 күн бұрын
Hey there! Josh from the future. When I made this video I didn't include the rear weights so yes this version was front heavy.
Great video. Shame your audio levels are all over the place.
@DOPJoshDiaz26 күн бұрын
I blame Descript, but yeah... my bad!
@alexlandherrАй бұрын
A compromise could’ve been to make it crystal sync and audio recording only and no digital video recording. The sync sound capabilities would’ve been a good selling point especially if they had priced it low.

Good stuff. I think I’d prefer this smaller form factor over traditional matte boxes, especially for informal run and gun shooting. Btw, there are a few matte boxes, like the Nisi C5, that include trays for 4” filters
@DOPJoshDiazАй бұрын
Agreed. I also like the smaller form factor. I didn't know the C5 came with a smaller tray. Thanks for the tip!

How would ya compare this to traditional backstage/magliner carts?
@DOPJoshDiazАй бұрын
Good question! I got this cart to replace my RocknRoller on bigger shoots, and it's great for that. If I had to compare it to a standard backstage cart (at least the ones im framilar with), I'd say the shelves feel more robust, and everything else is on par. I do like all the modular accessories with the Proaim that help you configure the cart to your needs. Out here in Manitoba, I mainly see two types of carts in the camera department, Proaim and Innovativ. I chose the cheaper option and so far so good!
