Nice video, thanks for taking the time to post it! Checked the description to see what engine is in the plane but that info is not there. What is the engine ?
@MatthewPrachar14 күн бұрын
Sorry I updated the description in the video, it is a Zenoah G62 on magneto, 40:1 oil mix, bennet muffler and zinger 22-10 prop.

ditto on that! Mine had an HP Gold Head! I got it used and was able to solo much easier than earlier attempts.

This is the plane that I always looked at for sale, but never pulled the trigger on buying it because it was just a little too expensive for my modest finances. Now I wish I had bought 10 of them.

Like the biplane. couldn't get a good enough look at it to tell what it is. looks like an Aeromaster or an Arrowmaster. Love the little glow engine. I built an Arrowmaster several years ago. It's my favorite biplane. K&B .61 in it.

Your club should put money together and build a proper asphalt runway for these pattern planes to take off and land.

that is not the maiden flight for that airplane. Miles framed that up for me in 2006, I finished it up and flew it for 10 years. sold it to a fellow in Fowlerville Mi. I have no idea who has it now.

I remember seeing this plane in tower talk flyers I used to get ,I over looked it over warbirds that was in that,now that I'm older and back into the hobby now this plane would be amazing to own and would be a everyday plane to take to the airpark.i was courierous about the wingspan I loved that don't need a huge engine,sounds like it would be very smooth plane.these are very sharp.thanks

Hey there Matthew...nice flying. Quick question....was the D&B 5.1 enough power for this size biplane? I'm buying one that has a BME 110 installed on it so your opinion on a 'smaller' size powerplant would be most appreciated!
@MatthewPrachar Жыл бұрын
Hello Dr. Who a 5.1 cubic inch is about a 83.5 cc engine so your 110 will be more displacement. However, as you can see in the video, I think the 5.1 has plenty of power. These are not 3D type aircraft but do fly well.
