I don't understand why people don't use knee braces especially when you had injuries in the past, but they are good even when you don't have a problem but you want to protect the knees, especially when you want to learn risky things or you ride in risky conditions like bug waves...

Thank you both so much for this amazing video. At this level, mental strength is just as important as physical and technical skills.

First she had the mindset she wanted to be the best (early in the video). In the end she said she don’t wanna risk it, prefers to enjoy life. Those are very different mindsets (opposite even) but I can understand both

great mini doc, watching pippa ride is always so much fun. all the best to her in the future
Me parece fatal meter el coche en la playa nada respetuoso con el medio ambiente para un deporte que respeta el medianamente video promocional nefasto.

Maaan. I have been looping and kiting with seat harness for a while now and honestly - other then not looking cool and maybe some durability issues - i don't really see the reason for the other one... I hope you can show to the world what can be done in a diaper and win all the comps in it :D

Check out ATG/kneesovertoesguy/anything in that field! I was 18/19 and couldn't surf without backpain and now 1year later as long as im consistently training outside of the water im good. You probably know all this but your body is all super connected, and the back being in the middle of you're body means everything conects into it. ATG principle is training from the ground up, with strength at length. For a back you can isolate everything feeding into it... hip flexors, piriformis, groin muscles, hamstrings, quadratus lumborum, glutes, all the spine erectors, trap 3s and more, and strengthen them. The training Ben Patrick does seems amazing as it focuses not just muscle but the connective tissue as well, so you can be fully functioning at your optimum "bulletproof". There are lots of other trainers that train in this way as well and im sure the're all great but i think he has mastered the lower body for sure

Such a cool video, happy to see sit harness helps. I really appreciated the moment you went for board off and didn’t edited it, Progress not perfection :)

Get out there and have fun with your friends, much more important then any gear. Long term you are going to have work smarter, not harder. I find very strict power lifting the best way to work my core and back. Cardio on the water, power lifting in the gym and some yoga on a rest day. Getting older means you have to work harder to not notice

yea buddy life is lookin good over there, I messed up my back during snowboarding and rehabilitated it back with kiteboarding, used a seat harness for the first 3 years and then I was ok move on a soft waist harness! like ion rival. It has been 8 years since then, and last year I bought a rebel sls 2023 11m, and the soft harness started bruise me so now I am thinking maybe get a semi hard one like ion apex8, I dont know if it will work or I will have pain with it but , if the semi hard one does hurt, I might change the kite maybe get a evo dlab and work things out from there. By the way rebel 2023 sls 11m really messed up my arms, wrist and shoulder blades, the first gen is so soft that when it overpowers u feel all stretch of the kite in the bar, the pressure get super hard even in the soft settings so, this summer was not so much fun but anyhow man gotta find a way to keep flying. Learn how to dive maybe you can go spear fishing over there and post more kool videos when u cevice with them. You have been the champ in our hearts and have nothing to prove left, it looks like you living the dream so keep enjoying, hope I ll make it to your school one day and learn some tricks from you guys and have a great time together much love.

I have elbow and bicep tendinitis in my right arm from the repeated movements involved with jumping.
@dajobra2 ай бұрын
@@robinfrenzy I had that, but not from kiting. Turns out it was more of a shoulder problem, daily rotator cuff excercises with high reps and low friction did the trick. The idea is that your bicep is compensating for your shoulder, stronger shoulders solves that problem.
