Time To GIVEBACK (a Kitesurfing story about giving back to the community)

After 15 years of travelling to Brazil to train and work on my progression as a professional Kitesurfer I wen't back this year with a different purpose. This place and its community have given me so much and I felt that it was time to GIVEBACK.
With the support of my sponsor Duotone I managed to get some Kitesurfing gear to travel to Brazil with and give out to the local kids of Cumbuco who dream about one day having a professional career.
The goal was to spend the day with them having fun, Inspiring them and at the end, give them the tools that are necessary to achieve their dreams.
Seeing the emotion on all of their faces throughout the day priceless and Is something that I will never forget.

we need more of this, especially with the obvious overstock of previous year models a lot of companies have currently. the hardest part is finding kids to give the kites to that have the time/access to use them. but cheers to you man 👊🤙

maybe it doesnt seem like much, but lots of those kids train with horrible kites and progress a lot with better models, they end up winning everything!

The kiting is amazing, but the narration of the anonymous „kids“ and Liam the great benefactor is deaf and antiquated. If you care about these people and their project then give them a voice and tell their story instead of using them as background footage for the display of what comes across like a savior complex.
