I’m looking at the Szepter, but wish it had a bigger granny gear, with 50 or more teeth. Would you say it’s a reason not to get one?

Please take a look at the new Propain gravel bike, you can build your own spec on their configurator. I'm running a full carbon, T-type gear weapon of a bike and it is super cheap! www.propain-bikes.com

I’m a wanna-be xc rider. I’ve done a dozen races or so and always come in at the back of the pack. I’d like to get workouts geared towards XC. And yeah, I thought the bruise was a new tattoo!

That’s not grip strength that’s grip endurance
@Fit4Racing
@Fit4Racing 5 күн бұрын
Endurance being your strength over time - a metric of strength. Testing/training maximal strength isn't necessarily a good way to apply your grip to sport... in most cases.

how do i do it without it hurting my shoulers from the bar
@Fit4Racing
@Fit4Racing Ай бұрын
Try to shrug your shoulders to make a "shelf" with your traps, rest the bar on your muscles rather than your spine. If that does't work for you, as much as it's frowned upon, use a pad.

Great video if muted. Love the part where you say doing this type of stretching will give you 10x the benefit of a massage gun.... two totally different things. Stretching and elongating a muscle won't release all the knots etc or increase the blood flow quite the same or as much as a massage gun or sports massage..... but nah nah I'll just do a quad stretch and will be sound....
@Fit4Racing
@Fit4Racing Ай бұрын
haha! My voice is an acquired taste, I'll admit that. I'm not sure a massage gun would release knots though.... have you had positive results you can share? Acupuncture and sports massage I totally support for acute muscle tension.

7 minutes for 2k on the rower thats nuts !
@Fit4Racing
@Fit4Racing 2 ай бұрын
1:45 per 500m pace. Yes, it’s pretty fast but a benchmark that’s achievable by top performers. The point is, if you can get to any of these benchmarks you’re doing well and probably at a level to be looking at more specifics, until then, striving for these benchmarks will only help. Break it down into smaller goals, each one a win. Can you do 8 minute 2k?

I’d like eventually to try your program with the App, but the reviews are really bad. What can you say about these?
@Fit4Racing
@Fit4Racing Ай бұрын
4.8 out of 5... Not sure that's too bad. Buuuut, perhaps you're seeing something I'm not and I'm interested in seeing what you see. We built the app from scratch because any plug-in fitness apps lack the ability to film the whole weeks program, they tend to be a library based format, but we know a back squat can be performed 1000 different ways so like to explain how and why we execute each movement each week. We are continuing to develop the app and any feedback is useful.
