Hi there. Thanks. glad it could help. there are others such 'LA' emphasizing the object, 'A' emphasizing the subject or doer of the action, 'DA' often used in different kinds of descriptions (but not only), 'NGI' for the gerund structures, etc.

So if I want to say: "the friend will see", will I say : di na xarit-bi? and if yes what about "di na sama xarit" will that mean he/she will see my friend or my friend will see. I'm confused on how to use the personal pronoun(to indicate aspect and indicate the subject) when I have another word as a 3rd person subject like xarit

Hi there. Thanks. Well, 'the friend will see' could be translated as 'xarit bi dina gis', not sure about the complete logic of that sentence. But the friend being the subject, the syntax structure of the future would have it before the verbal section.

Isn't it -oon and -óón as it changes because of vowel harmony so tukkiwóón and jàngiwóón but xamoon and gisoon?

Hi there. Thanks. I am sure about that but I do know that the past ending is -oon or -woon depending on ending. oo and óó are two different vowel sound patterns.

In gambia they also say "me I'm going to the store" etc, I think even in mandinka this grammatical constructs exists. "Inte imbitale"
