Hello, Thank you for these lessons. I start learning Wolof and it's like a giant puzzle... Is it correct if I say : "duma dem" or "demuma" ? If the second one exists, what is the difference betwwen the two sentences ? Thank you for your help.

@ Sandrine Mayot. Hello, you're welcome. In my humble opinion, both of them have a negative meaning. Meanwhile, "duma dem", if referring to a tense aspect, means 'i won't go'. It can also mean 'I don't go' if the intention is something that you don't do and it's part of your habits for example; Ex: 'Duma lekk ceeb' can both mean 'i won't eat rice' and 'i don't eat rice' (maybe i have related allergies or i just don't eat it). But 'demuma' means 'i have not gone....' or 'i have not been ...' Hope it helps.

You can see the "Schedules" tab to see how you can use it to organize your own individual progress depending on what you can have time to do and review each week. publish.illinois.edu/wolof201fall14/ publish.illinois.edu/elemwolof202/ 2- In the elementary 2 website, you can see the "Mbind" tab (about student writing journals). If you want to develop your vocabulary with other topics, this can be a good strategy with self-pace and if you have somebody that can give feedback on your writings and through multiple drafts, you can improve not only your own skills in writing but also discover a great deal of vocabulary with your own topics of interests. 3- This was another similar site, but I taught it in an intensive summer context. publish.illinois.edu/intensivewolof201/ Hope it was helpful.
