Hey! nice series! Were you able to find what make and model the canoe is?

I'm redoing a canvas canoe similar to this for a high-school project and somehow an 8 year old series is still the best resource I've found. Fantastic job

We're buying a shabby, small 1865 house but we are going to do homage to it's age when we fix it up - not make it look new and modern. I'll have to look up what you did to your place. Ours is more like it was.

Beautiful boat! Very nice work. I love how you show things not going just right so you have to solve the issue and adapt. Just like real life. I’m curious, are you a carpenter by trade?

Great video, thank you. Clear voice and thorough explanations. One question if you don’t mind… Without batoning (sp?) will regular use in the bush such as whittling, fuzz stick fire staring, meat cutting, etc. ruin the patina? Thank you.

They all rot there when my father reskinned his he glued it and then deluted the glue with thinner then painted it on to tighten and waterproof the canvas then painted it red over the years we sanded it lightly then repainted it the only rot is where youres is the tip but looking at it today the canvas looks great just years of dust

Even with politics aside, I strongly recommend never shopping through Amazon for quality products because they do not even attempt to prevent counterfeit products from being sold. Personally I only buy directly from the producers of products when I buy online.
