Thank you. I want to build exterior shutters for my house. I priced them and the cost is too high. Other than using planed 2x red cedar, is there anything I should consider as far as joints. I have the bits for raised panel doors but I see some shutter companies use mortise and tenon joints. Thnak you

Hi Carlos, if you have similar bits as I used here, the track itself serves as the joint. just be sure to glue properly and it should last.
