Im reading that a lot of people said he hasn't fought any boxer worth their weight in gold. The actual issue is that there is no upside to fighting Tank outside of a payday. He hasn't had any actual title until Martin and the boxers with titles refuse to fight him because they can lose their title and gain nothing. For the longest he had a (Regular) title that isn't worth any thing towards being undisputed. After beating Frank Martin he finally got a quarter of the light weight undisputed hierarchy . If he beats Lamont Roach, then he starts to build legitimacy as an undisputed contender, but then he'll have to go after Roger Gutierez and Hector Garcia. At the time the "Four Kings" Davis, lopez, Haney and Garcia were all suppose to fight each other but danced around it. Haney is the only one that became undisputed, but shortly after everyone moved up in weight. Garcia fighting Davis was for the culture but really didn't hold any weight because no real title was on the line. Garcia also fought Haney and didn't get a title. I believe Tank is the best of the 4, but I Garcia has the biggest heart because he actually fights. If Tank doesn't have people keep dodging him I think he will make for a better legacy.
