Perfect fighter!? Not even close! I love Boots and his offense. But he has a lot of weaknesses. He throws everything full power and speed all the time, his shots are wide, he doesn’t move his head when throwing so he can be hit in exchanges, he hangs in the pocket too long, he follows instead of cutting the ring, he leaves his hands down on the inside, he abandons his jab, he walks right in, he relies heavily on reflexes, etc. Boots is susceptible to the uppercut and the overhand. Bud hurts him with the same uppercut Spence didn’t see when he got put down in round 6 of that fight.
