New rules for the Eddie, no snaking. Going straight will score wiping out, will not score and only those who know how to actually bottom turn and pull high into the pit of doom can win?And ideally, you need to make it out of that pit of doom to really hit the perfect score

To think that in gopro even big days look small on the lens. It shrinks the waves really. But look at this, even tho it did shrinked the waves here on eddie, look at the massive size on these images, they r insane even on the cam, then u can think lol

Your videos are some of the best out there. I did not know much about you and thought you and your brothers were just goofballs. Man was I wrong. Your surfing speaks for itself. You should put out shorts and get your numbers up. I would like to see you at a million doing slab tours and such. Aloha

Congrats on the perfect wave. Vans absolutely dropped the ball on the Pipeline Masters this year. The initial snub of Jamie O’Brien-arguably the best surfer ever at Pipeline and one of its most passionate ambassadors-was inexcusable. Jamie’s Instagram rant wasn’t just justified; it was necessary. This isn’t just any contest; it’s an event meant to crown the true King of Pipe. Leaving out Jamie, a Pipeline icon and someone who has dedicated his life to this wave, was a slap in the face to the legacy of the Masters. What makes Pipeline special is its history, its local talent, and the respect it commands. Jamie O’Brien embodies all of that, and his inclusion in the event shouldn’t have been a question. His wave performance proved Vans made a mistake by not including him from the start-he had one of the top 4 waves of the event! And let’s talk about Vans’ broader mishandling of the competition. No professional live broadcast? Seriously? This is the Pipeline Masters, not some back-alley surf meet. The lack of a stream from Vans was a massive disservice to surf fans worldwide, leaving us reliant on Nathan Florence to save the day. Thankfully, Nate stepped up, live-streamed the event on his KZbin channel, and gave us all a front-row seat to history. Huge kudos to him not only for covering the event but for absolutely dominating it and taking the win. What a legend! I also want to say that I almost always roll my eyes at posts like Jamie’s rant-but this one? This one deserved to be shouted from the rooftops. It needed to be seen, validated, and vindicated. Vans owes Jamie and the entire Pipeline community an apology for their mishandling of this event. The Pipeline Masters only holds value if it truly includes the best surfers at Pipe, and Jamie’s exclusion went against everything the contest stands for. Congrats to Nathan Florence for not just the win but for being a champion in and out of the water. And Jamie, your passion for Pipeline and the local surf community continues to inspire. Keep fighting for what’s right. Surfing needs voices like yours!

I was thinking earlier, how can it be possible to take surfing to the next level? I don't think you get to decide, it's kind of out of your control. But sometimes conditions and the perfect person at the right time in their life all come together. You don't get to choose when, but this is one of those times where it's all just perfect.
