Hi. That's a simple and informative review. I recently purchased a Vstrom and completed 3k KM and in absolute love with it. I got the first service done at Aarush Suzuki Attapur and it was a horrible experience. So, just wanted to know which service centre you would suggest in Hyderabad.

Quick question. I own Xpulse 200 and I swear I'm fed up with that motorcycle. I am planning to go for V Storm. Does it vibrates while cruising at 120-130 Kmph? Do you ever feel the lack of speed on this motorcycle? Last question, is the front suspension that bad (considering the Xpulse one coz that one is butter)?
@ShivendraSangwanАй бұрын
I have the 250, it's meant for smooth cruising till 110-115. 120-130 would be pushing it and the footpegs will vibrate. For a cruising speed of 130 I think Himalayan 450 is the cheapest option. if you are coming from an xpulse, you won't like the comfort of the 250. I have ridden both, Vstrom 250 leans better, much more stable on high speeds and gives better road feedback, but Xpulse is miles better in terms of comfort and bad road stability.
@abhineet15misraАй бұрын
@@ShivendraSangwan thank you for your reply. I understand that V Strom will vibrate around 130 but I wanted a comparison since you have ridden both. Does the VStorm vibrates similar to how the Xpulse does at 120 kmph?
@ShivendraSangwanАй бұрын
@@abhineet15misra Not at all. Upto 85 I would keep Xpulse and Vstrom similar in how comfortable the engine feels. The more you push the more the gap widens in terms of vibrations and ridability. When I used to push xpulse above 105-110 it used to become a bit floaty on road and lots of vibrations overall, but Vstrom doesn’t feel that stressed around 120. But I would say anything above 120 is strictly not its cruising speed, can be considered overtaking speed.
@abhineet15misraАй бұрын
@@ShivendraSangwan Thank you. Sorry for stretching this conversation but can you elaborate when you say Xpulse is miles better in comfort than V Storm? Does it pains on V Storm on long rides or a little rough roads (not talking about proper offloading)?
@ShivendraSangwanАй бұрын
@@abhineet15misra this one is tough to communicate but I will try. Xpulse glides on city roads, like a knife cutting through butter. Vstrom sticks to Tarmac on city roads, makes you feel confident while leaning, on highways it’s much more stable than Xpulse and can handle potholes in a good stride even in high speed (I haven’t hit many potholes on xpulse at highway speed). But once it’s broken roads, Xpulse’s suspension absorbs the tough parts, Vstrom makes you feel those. I can handle rough road patches on Vstrom in small batches but god save my back if it’s a 3hr stretch of broken road with pebbles. These days, scrambler, himmy 450 and others have such mature suspensions that you wish Vstrom could do better in this case. It’s the only weakness of this bike in my opinion.

Where did you get the BMC airfilter? Its out of stock in all the websites
@nururkhan2 ай бұрын
I ordered the air filter from custom elements. You can also check with vgears and find out if they have it.
@ShivendraSangwan3 ай бұрын
If you research online, 300V is supposed for short term track usage compared to 7100 which is more for the service intervals 250 sx demands. 300V starts running harsher way before 7100, so it requires frequent change.

Brother, I have to buy the fuel x today before leaving on my trip tomorrow., can you give a quick summary of the upgrade? If it's worth it or not, and where you feel the performance changed.
@nururkhan3 ай бұрын
Please don’t buy Fuelx by thinking it will improve the bike performance. It is meant to optimise the air fuel mixture for better combustion. As a result, the throttle is buttery smooth, in-gear acceleration is better, engine runs smooth with less vibration etc. after riding in city traffic I can say it will improve the mileage but not insanely. You would also need to spend for a free flow air filter as both works coherently. Hope this helps
