CoA, the Thanksgiving beta I've tried was pretty fun with the new classes, but had the Wildcard & Freepick gear loot boxes from quest and leveling up fast , was hoping CoA would be like Vanilla leveling.

yeah I am hoping that the full release has everything slowed down to a normal & regular feeling progression. I think on beta its fine to keep it as is, people want to try different classes. But I am hoping for some changes at launch.

It’s crazy that the anniversary realms are bringing in a lot of people who haven’t played WoW much, and now they’re checking out hardcore. There are a lot of things people overlook and forget about when playing normally. On hardcore knowing all these overlooked details can certainly help!

I would correct you in one thing. Even if someone played only in 2004, I wouldn't dare say they "didn't play Wow much". I played in 2004 and I was a complete nolife. That's why I had to stop playing. But the hours I put in the game and the gear I got... Places I saw and stuff I did.. "Haven't played WoW much". That didn't feel nice.

When the incursions and seed farm broke the classic open world feel. Oh also the gear. I ddecided to follow the xp incursuon fsrm to 50. Hit 50, the vendor had gear for me. Turned out suken temple gear wasnt an upgrade. Ran twice and I thought id go back. But im on classic classic tanking.

I certainly wouldn't pay for alpha access. Waiting list and limited slots for an alpha makes sense. Heck, even charge the normal sub cost to play - $15/mo. But to charge $120 for alpha access and still charge $15/mo when the game launches is wild to me. This game does look good though. If nothing else its pretty to look at.

I recently stopped retail with my wife, after prestiging in Emine im currently working on a OWTL build 😂 cheese, I know, on A52 I randomly chose WW to start with some friends, and holy moly the damage is insane. BUT, I’m new, and following the hero archetype auto build full in. As soon as I heard titans grip, with the way this class works, and with the PvP build on A52, I’ve been running shaman mail I.e sets with agi/stam/and intellect BUT, I might mix it up with ret/holy pally gear. For PVE I have cloth/leather/mail and plate and with the PVE build, especially leveling, I was destroying bg’s and wrecking damage meters and I haven’t even macro’s yet. GREAT video!! I have 100% faith in the Project Ascension team when it comes to making these classes fun, compelling, and viable. I have much lower faith in them for getting content right. 2 hours to max level by spamming dungeons that provide no challenge, manastorm crap, and mob scaling in the open world. So much yuck from them. If only the Project Ascension team would build the classes, and then have Turtle WoW run the realm.

Absolutely 100%. I have no doubt they know how to build classes to be fun & interesting (as this is where most of their development time seems to go towards) but they haven''t really offered anything compelling in terms of long term engagement & end game content. Which is sort of a shame as I really do enjoy the server otherwise.

@@andrecardoso6941 This is true, however they did have to overhaul talents/specs in a way that felt vanilla but still make them strong enough to be viable. But also I think turtle wow is just better at where to manage their development time

Idk, honestly I’m using almost identical build (exactly the same for the ele tree) with a 2hander and it hits like a train. I easily overpower even people with much better gear than mine, and I was really surprised. The only thing is that for me this build started to shine in pvp especially after I got the “unstoppable force” from Alterac which adds that chance to stun on hit that really adds so well to the build overall. Even though I must admit that even before the Unstoppable Force, this build performed quite well with the right ammount of crit chance + spell crit chance.

2H is decent under the right circumstances. I think the spellhance route can be more consistent & provide enough tankiness to keep yourself alive long enough to wear most classes down. Spellhance absolutely crushes rogues.
