I actually love this console. The 3DS is the best way to emulate it now a days. If you've got one, try downloading the Red Viper emulator.

Maybe just film your thoughts about things gaming related, that seems to work for a lot of channels and let's you put out quick and easy videos. Just an idea so you don't have to take weeks to produce a video.

Wow man sounds like you've had a wild year, but overall positive growth. Appreciate the update and hope that the new direction makes you feel better about the channel. I think a cool idea might be a field trip to game stores to see what the what the prices look like. It could act more like an almanac for that year. That way it doesn't become out of a date but almost like a curiosity instead.

I first commented on this video 2 years ago and I’m rewatching this again today. It’s crazy to think that LRG has gotten literally worse since this video was put out. So, I’m pretty sure you saw a post on Twitter recently about Tomba by Nintendo Revised Jeisse. That’s me. I made that post. Where the company lied and Josh lied to us and expressed that the game was not in manufacturing and that the updates would be on the cart. I have the cartridge in my hands. It updates to version 1.0.2. And it has version 1.0.0. Well what’s the problem I hear many ask? This is the problem. When the game came out digitally, version 1.0.0 suffered from game breaking issues. Specifically some users experienced constant freezing and only a hard reboot would fix the issue. Nintendo Life reported on this four months ago. LRG KNEW about this and even acknowledged the comments by saying the cart would have the patch but they flat out lied. The game was already in manufacturing and that’s the reason it has version 1.0.0. Now, to clarify, I’ve played quite a bit of the game and my switch is unaffected by this issue. But there are already reports in their discord stating that the game will freeze on them. Which goes back to what I previously said, that “some” users would be affected. Even if I’m not personally affected, the fact that they knew some would be, and proceeded to print a botched version is ludicrous. Not to mention that many will defend LRG and say, well it’s the devs fault, because they submitted the version build to LRG with the bugs and game breaking issues. Tomba was handled by MVG on the carbon engine which is a LRG engine. So what’s the excuse now? LRG has also been banning people on discord, myself included, for bringing up these issues. They DO NOT care about us. We all need to stand up and say that enough is enough. The lies, the broken games, the delivery issues, and much more that this company has done, enough is enough.

@@Jeissecastillo yeah I retweeted that post. It's really pathetic that they can't even QA their own game. People are more than willing to wait for a working version. But there's a huge sealed collectors market that couldn't care less. I've sold most of my limited Run stuff for huge returns

I have BVM and PVMs from Sony and Panasonic and they are very nice indeed but I prefer to play on the JVC “iART” consumer grade 32” set I own. It’s big, bright has nice geometry 📐 and flat face glass tube. The sound is fantastic and has RF composite S-video and Component. The speakers 🔊 really kick. Just get a rgb to component converter and you will be a happy camper or use composite. I am thinking of selling most of my pvm and bvm monitors. If you go down the PVM rabbit hole just pick up a 13” pvm and set it on the desk. I think 13” is the sweat spot for most people. Once you are kicking it on the couch it’s time to go with a 32” tv. Oh I have a small flat tube 20” Sony tv from the early 2000’s it’s fantastic. You really don’t need a PVM. I mean think about it. Did any of us use a PVM back in the day?

My take on graded games is that if you're going to get Nintendo DS,PS2 and OG Xbox games graded as well as anything before those systems then I think that's a great idea but 3ds,Xbox360 PS3,Wii and anything going forward makes zero sense on getting those graded?

As one of the few who actually grew up with this weird piglet game, it's so surreal to see what felt like a novel and personal experience previously condemned to obscurity to completely blow up online. I see a lot of people asserting this is simply a fad, that the game will drop in price and fade back intro obscurity, but I don't think it will; at least not entirely. While it doesn't hold a candle to your stereotypical grandiose titles of prestigious award, it still remains a genuinely compelling experience, in retrospect to when it came out, and still to this day.
