I love how Sonic Adventure is a reasonable enough game. Like $30-40 or something like that then Sonic Adventure 2 is $100 plus. The difference.

I think twofold why Dreamcast (console) prices are (slightly) dropping and stagnating. One, is GD Rom lasers going bad, getting another laser is rare and risky as the ones that are available are from places like AliExpress and those are not new. I bought two and only one worked. The Second is GDEmu, the price to replace the GDRom with a GDEmu isn't cost-effective unless you have had a Dreamcast from the beginning and the GDRom died. Prices for GDEmu's are roughly $140-$180 depending on where you get it. Out of my 4 Dreamcasts, I only have one GD Rom disc working, the other two are GDEmu, and the last one the GDRom just died and I'm not sure if I'm going to install another GDEmu or do a hard disk mod.

I think Dreamcast will be steady. I honestly don't see another massive spike like we saw in 2020. A 20 dollar a game average seems to be what to expect, plus with GD-ROM being so finicky with reliability, I don't see an influx of collectors entering the space unlike what we have seen with Gamecube. BTW, have you seen what has happened with Disney Sports Basketball on Gamecube the past few months? Good Lord man! lol

I remember when people were practically giving SA 1 and 2 away, selling them for like 12 dollars in 2018 and 2019. Now the prices for anything dreamcast related are ridiculously high. I would’ve bought out the cheap controllers at my local game store if I new this was in the cards for the Dreamcast lol

will you ever do psp, ps2 or ps3 in the future? Especially the psp. It was spiking in price recently on the lesser price games probably because the 3ds being a handheld may have influence some people to check out the PSP but the weird thing is the highly collectible ones (like RPGs) are dropping in price. Especially Persona 3 Portable. The game was almost 300$ but crashed and its almost the same price before the pandemic started. Got Rereleased and it was digital only.

I mentioned that it's on the psp in the first sentence so I'm not sure what you're talking about. Psp is almost 20 years old at this point.
