No bottom coat primer? The bottom paint works way better if you mix in some copper powder stir then apply… copper prevents bottom growth

The more I watch boat videos on YT the more I hear people calling the HULL of the vessel the HOLE. A hole in a hull is a whole bad thing. It is a younger generation thing and mostly in the US but other nationalities mispronounce it as well. Take it from someone who has spent over 40 years on every kind of vessel there is afloat it is a HULL take away the last L and put in a K you have incredible HULK. Take away the K and you will be able to say it correctly. Other than that this HULKING HULL should hold out Ok as long as you don't have a hole.

Congratulations. Just a small suggestion. If you want to up your game, add a red pin stripe defining the bottom paiint from the hull. You will see it is a frequent detail on boats around the world. Best of luck...

If you put a very thin layer of thickened epoxy on the bottom of the boat, that will help stick the fiberglass up while you saturate it. Nice colour combo. 👍

Hi Jack, maybe try to wrap/cover the boat by some plastiq sheet? To avoid dust and reaction on the sun... If you finalize it, you can SELL it afterwards and those things are far from "cheap"... therefore it might either earn you some coin, or at least return you your money for the materials.

Someone may have already said this. The easiest way to remove rivets is to drill into the tops.
