So much work... Sorry to be the downer but that boat will not last very long once it gets wet. There are so many areas where the cheap crappy plywood wasn't sealed properly, the screw joints are weak and the whole thing is liable to come apart in a good blow. But I guess it kept you busy during spring break. It will always make a great play house for some kids later.

Hi Jack, how are you? I'm from Brazil, and I really enjoyed your boat building videos, very inspiring! I didn't see the name of the model or designer, what is the name of this project you are building?
@JackWood2524 күн бұрын
@@fsxavier Hello! Thanks for the comment. The specific boat that I’m building is essentially a little cabin cruiser. It’s called the Naut 450. If you’re curious, I bought the plans over on duckworks.com.

Another thing to add, make sure you have water coming out of the tell tale (if applicable )and the intake is clear (if applicable) this ensures the engine is being cooled, if not turn the engine off as it will overheat quickly.

@martinaakervikАй бұрын
@@JackWood25 ok. Hm… think people need to calm down. Seems some really love marching like some kind of soldiers, even as free citizens in this modern world. But we’re actually humans that used to live in a natural, not forced pulse/rythm. Our veins know this. We’re not robots or machines. We, ..so often in industrialised societies, …seem to forget this, pretty often too. But for those of us experiencing travelling in the 90s …even some countries here in Europe had a much more balanced view in life in general where watches wasn’t always necessary. (Before we all “had too.”) I know a schedule is practical & effective, but this is a (private persons(?idk?)) YT channel and seems like a playful project, not a industrialised business model. I could be wrong though.
