Hello again guys! This video is definitly more laid back and relaxed compared to the last two boat episode. Anyways, in this video, I essentially paint my homemade sailboat! Regarding the ending, I'll explain everything in the next video. I hope you guys enjoy!

I think the boat looks pretty good considering you did it all outside. It's harder to get a perfect paint job outside with all the crap floating around and the sun making it dry at different rates

Remember White hides more imperfections then any other color, but good job...

Good work 👍but It would have been nice if you faired the hull and surfaces with epoxy and sanded to smooth when the imperfections are covered. It's not too late.

Did you consider using a filler for the hull in order to get a smooth surface? So you don't get down to sanding the fiberrglass to get a smooth surface and then you can just paint on

Personally, i would put on a coat of GRP and finish it off with a gel coat. That is the coat that contains the final colors. I do actually want a sea going yacht. If you sail in marine environments you need to keep the hull as cĺean as possible. However you are doing a pretty good ĵob.

Build and Finish Videos get you viewers and subscriptions! Keep it on! There is an Interior to make perhaps some sort of engine. And with regards to your camera work, would recomend to stick with tripod and close up , rather than Action cam style. Also accelerated sequences with naration are completly fine!

why is the keel not under the boat while you have done this in the previous episode?

I jumped around while filming. What I did was built the keel and got it pouring in the mold, I then painted the boat, and then attached the keel

The paint that I've been using is from totalboat. Throughout the video, I shared which type of paint I was using for each section of the boat. I'll leave some link in the description to these paints.

Sorry dat ik het zeg maar het ziet er niet fraai uit je hebt de ondergrond jammer genoeg niet goed afgewerkt waardoor de aflak er minder mooi uit ziet. Ik volg je al een poosje vind het leuk dat iemand iets goeds probeert te maken maar misschien moet je eens kijken naar andere bouwers je kan op simpelere manieren dingen verbeteren. Succes met het vervolg. Ik blijf je wel volgen hoor alleen ik kijk er iets anders tegenaan als de meeste andere volgers.

I don't understand. What was the purpose of the thin blue tape? All you needed was the wide painter's tape.

I watched a few KZbin videos before hand and a large majority of these boat builders recommended this thin blue to help get a cleaner paint line. I've painted before with just the painters tape and I can say, you don't get a very clean line, especially if your surface isn't super smooth.
