This is still an active tower facility owned by American Tower. American Tower purchased 42,965 of the old AT&T microwave facilities. AT&T still uses some of the old microwave facilities for cellular and fiber optic transmission CO's (central offices).

@@zacharyhawk6040 Choose between one of these two depending on which outlet thread you need in order to have the custom braided clutch cable made. 3/8-24 vs 1/8-NPT www.summitracing.com/parts/wil-260-13624 www.summitracing.com/parts/wil-260-12387 The stock bore diameter for the f350 master cylinder is .875" Talk to a local hydraulic shop to get the line made, I bought a new slave cylinder which came with the stock line and the hydraulic shop was able to cut the fitting off of one end and add the braided line. Lol I just did all the research again before realizing I already put the part number in the description bro >_<

Extremely happy to see that I can upgrade/substitute the entire motor for a bigger one. Probably get less mileage but no need to tear down the old one and modify it.
@Max_Marz
@Max_Marz 10 ай бұрын
if the bike is in good shape it is worth it to keep the motor stock, only do this to rat-rods. The quality control on these motors is terrible and id suggest sticking to 125cc. The stock motor is bulletproof.

I’m wondering what drive shaft did u use with that transmisión .. since the donor I had it’s 2 pieces drive shaft ..
@Max_Marz
@Max_Marz Жыл бұрын
It was custom made by a local driveline shop out of parts from the original driveshaft. A carrier bearing, support and a telescoping splined section needed to be added as the ZF-5 has a rigid output yoke. It wasn't too big of a deal to have done, $500 or so.
@Max_Marz
@Max_Marz Жыл бұрын
The original driveshaft was a single piece, it went directly from the transmission to the differential, I had to go to a two piece because it was already at the limit for length on a single piece shaft.

I was working and learning on these machines back in the 1960s-72 in Jack Tracey's Harley, Honda dealership and shop in Yonkers NY. I put a 1974 CT 90 back together some 5 or so years back, just to go back in time. You did an outstanding job with this tutorial and brought back memories archived in my mind for over half a century. Great job, Thank you.

Thank you man, very sweet comment. I’ve come a very long way in understanding these motors and technical abilities since I made this video even. Last year I rode an 86’ ct110 cross country and back <3 The Honda cub and it’s variants are truly one of the best motorcycles ever made.

You should be able to find the wear specifications in a service manual. All of the smaller XL’s that have an engine visually matching yours from any year will likely share the same clutch and wear specs. Find any genuine service manual you can.

The proper order on most Honda’s is timing chain, valves, then points and timing. This is due to the former could affect the latter adjustments. Due to timing advance mechanisms, the best is to use a real timing light that attaches to the spark plug. Then you can ensure the timing is advancing as you increase rpm. If you follow this procedure, you will have everything perfectly adjusted.
