This is really cool, I was wondering if I could get some help with the wiring

Now all that's needed to finish this build is a big block stroker kit some Aluminum heads and maybe some Turbo action to for giggles and shits.

Also if you want to be safe and have it not start into any gear, you can add a switch to your clutch pedal that interrupts a single wire, maybe to the starter or starter solenoid.

yeah its an easy task, I just dont get why people call it unsafe

Around here when you get your driving license they even teach you to move your broken down car out of dangerous situations using the starter in second gear. Think busy intersection, or railway crossing. I've moved junk cars that wouldn't start that way, much easier than pushing. Wasn't even aware there are cars with that kind of interlock. Perhaps it is just a US thing, where people aren't used to manual transmissions.

Yeah, I've done that before. It would have been really nice in the bus when the auto took a shit in the middle of the coffee drive-thru on the way to work...

Now that was a really dangerous situation right there, with all the morning zombies right behind you needing their caffeine hit. Still, it's gonna be great when you are done, and better than before.

Your video has inspired me and I’ve begun the conversion on mine. Can you provide info or links on what you used for a shift lever and boot? Got my pedal in, just need the transmission in and driveshafts modified. Also, what bore master cylinder did you use? I’ve installed mine in the same location, as it fits perfectly! I’ve installed my remote reservoir behind the “econoline” logo. Also, what bore slave? I saw a few different slaves but can’t imagine there is much difference.

Eric Smith we should have talked sooner! I wanna see! I used the stock slave and had a custom line made.

That cover is called the "Doghouse".

The doghouse is made up of two pieces, and I call it the doghouse multiple times in the video bro.
