So if you turn off the light button, there’s literally no difference in the normal setting and the boost setting.

This is modifying a manufacturer’s design, This is dangerous! When you change something like this, you have NO IDEA what else will be affected. (if you have to remove exterior panels to access something, then the manufacturer doesn’t want you to access it). One of the benefits of front loader machines is that they use less water and clean better. The machine shown with lots of suds is NOT BETTER. It will actually make poor washing results. On front loading washers, you must use HE (high efficiency) detergent. It does not make suds like that. Suds will cause a leak that is not truly a leak. The door seal can’t hold back suds. And no, this will not make it fill any faster or with any more pressure. (pressure and flow rate are different things and are unrelated to level which is measured by weight).

Nonsense. I tested this theory across four front loader washing machines... and using less water DOES NOT produce better washing results. It leaves your clothes smelly and full of detergent. Part of the proof is how manufacturers are trying to stop people from doing it (removing high water level options from menu or hiding the adjustment screw), it means lots of people are trying to do it, so there must be a reason (otherwise why waste water and money).

This video has helped a bit, But I’ve been having issues with mine. And now my display controller isn’t working. I literally just bought the kit over the weekend. Disheartening after all the money I spent at Harbor Freight. And the Harbor Freight people barely know what they’re talking about. Had to call a technician and even then I’m still having issues… The box says it can power an rv or camper, and the Harbor Freight person told me two fully charged batteries and solar the batteries would last four days. I can’t even get mine to stay on more then a few minutes without the Display controller Truly disappointed, I feel scammed (by Harbor Freight), honestly because I spent way more money on this then I should’ve to get what I needed to run everything. Camper is an 30amp, and I have the Jupiter 2000 Inverter. But at least the solar will run for a while during the daytime, for now at least…

Good video, good luck with that thing, mine does good to keep a cell phone charged and use one of the lights that came with it once in a while. Have it on a new trolling deep cycle battery. And if you give it a few days between using it, gives plenty of power, but I'm off the grid and don't have days for the junk system to catch it up

You are very determined & already have a lot of experience from the last few years. It's good timing with the kids now teenagers instead of little ones. They can be a lot of help! It will be fun to see the trailer progress, get color & furnishings. That's exciting about the possible spring! It would be good for videos to show how you dig it out & what you use it for.

Sorry for the not-totally-professional editing on this one! It's been a while since I shot and edited a video, and I realized I had some strange auto-focus things going on, and then I was talking to a very dark and dimly lit bathroom wall for way too long, LOL!! I'll get back up to speed on all this, and probably get the teenagers involved - they're like pros at this video editing thing, haha!

@@OffGridNorthIdaho kzbin.info/www/bejne/gpfFon6an5iCec0 This is the 1st video I made a daybor two ago. Cycling through the controller is a little difficult for me, I believe it I leave it alone and when I start it, the 1st display if arrow is blinking from the panel to the battery it tells me the actual voltage coming in to the batteries from the panel. Am I correct in saying this? Thank you for responding.

@@bagingospringo4396 apparently the code has a couple meanings. Lol I tested my battery and charge controller (i thought my charge controller was bad) with a voltmeter to ensure they were both operating at 12V. And they both were. So I completely disconnected my charge controller for a few to reset it. That seemed to work so far. Before I did all that though, I did the hold down the load button for 10 seconds thing but that didn't clear it.

I've read the instructions on old boxes of rubbers, they recommend you boil your lids, rings, rubber seals. I think if everything is hot, and the seals are hot and more pliable before you start to process it would make for a better vacuum and seal. I heard someone is coming out with a reusable metal lid, that uses rubber reusable seals. Thanks for posting this video. I've also seen people use the one time metal lids, with a rubber seal, as they had already used the one time use lid and they had no more lids, they just stuck a new rubber seal under the original used seal on the lid and they said it sealed up just fine.

Buyer Beware! Do not buy Harvest Guard lids in bulk without trying them first. After following all their instructions I got about 60% failure rate and emailed the company. With every emailed suggestion, I followed the directions very carefully and could not get better than 50%, which I only got once. Unfortunately I had ordered in bulk after watching all the wonderful KZbin videos raving about the reusable lids. By the time my canning season came around I had passed their return/refund deadline.
