That fake money is so cool! I'd love some to use in my own decoupage crafting. I love this project you made & would like to try it with some hand cut stencils. (A lot of work...). And when you asked who comes to mind when I think of money, I thought of the Monopoly dude. This project would be fun with him in front of Monopoly money...

When you glue the more tricky papers with MP (like tissue paper, book paper, tracing paper, etc) it’s handy to just glue the canvas first, lay all the papers down where you want them, wait a bit for the glue to kinda dry and keep the papers in place, THEN add a layer of MP on top of the papers. Saves on the wrinkles, tears and warps. And I bet the fake money cost a fortune to buy 😂😂

I also have to say that, with the upcoming economy and terror most are going to be living with, most aren’t even having a Christmas this year. 🤷♂️ my husband and I haven’t had a legit Christmas in years -like, not even before covid hit. Shit is just WAY too expensive, even with coupons and sales and such. I’d love to have a fancy cutter and all that. But, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to afford even a $50 dollar cutter at any point in my life. 🤷♂️ If I want stencils, I just suffer with my crippled hands cutting them out DIY old school style 😂

Thanks. That was a very informative video. Had zero idea a person could buy all these different spray can nozzles, and here I have been making my own. And no they don't always work. ( at all ) well maybe 2 out of 10 something I come up with has worked. Again thanks.

I'm about to try epoxy coating a knife. I drew on it with acrylic, now I wanna preserve that. I imagined it would be some complicated process, and imagined all these different ways to cover the knife. Then I watched this and was like "Of COURSE, I can just clamp it in a vise and rub the epoxy into place with my gloved hands!" I'll give it a try soon... I have high confidence that it'll be effective and efficient.
@DuncanCustomAirbrush2 күн бұрын
Good luck! I have epoxied a lot of things but never thought about epoxying a knife
@MarengiOmnisystems2 күн бұрын
Cheers! I think it's gotta be on there pretty thin. If it's thick, a chopping motion might shear the epoxy off the metal. But if the epoxy is thin it should just act like part of the blade geometry and slide through the material. Of course, the best way to preserve it will be to use it for fine cutting jobs. But I will try coating a 2nd knife or maybe a hatchet to see how the epoxy coating stands up to splitting wood. I also plan to try your "spraying iso alcohol on wet paint" technique soon, maybe on my mom's golf cart if I can talk her into it :)
