Ortholite isn't the gel technologhy used. it's the sock liner/foot pad that sits under your foot in the shoe.

How do you like ACRONYM jackets for backpacking/hiking? Ide really like to know how it works for backpacking especially as i bet its great for hiking.

They're great! It's all hiking appropriate materials and ergonomically cut so that it would be useful in those circumstances. What it comes down to is how ok you'd be with roughing up your piece. The thing I love about a lot of Acronym garments is that they feel tasteful and elevated and can also be used for more rugged situations. I've used my SP28's and P27's for PLENTY of hikes. Less-so the jackets because I just don't want to sweat through them too much. Comes down to preference.

Bro, i've been buying visvim since 2005, there was a lot changed. And I would say the early era of visvim is really close to Acronym. And I am totally agree with you that, some how there is connection between 2 brands and people always got hook to Acr or Vsvm from the others.

Some brands that have that same reverence for vintage would be RRL, and Kapital specifically. While these brands are still expensive, on average, they tend to be a bit cheaper than Visvim. Prospective flow too? Maybe? I hate to be that guy because it always seems like a bunk recommendation, but, genuinely, find a curated vintage store or go thrifting too if you're looking for pieces. That is EXACTLY what Vis is inspired by. Hiroki and team usually just impart small tweaks like I've shown in the video to make a vintage piece THEIR OWN and "new". I pair a lot of my Vis with vintage.
