Really like the video. I always wondered how thex did the sleeves on that jacket, and your video gave a bit of a better overview over this. Dont have any stuff to add, could talk a whole lot more about membranes and the fabrics, but thats for another time. Thanks for doing these videos, pleasure working with you.

The j1a-S from 13' could be considered just as boxy. I think a decent amount of earlier gen jackets are not as profile.

Another great video! Looking forward to more. Can you comment a little about the face fabric of this jacket? Is it the same as the J1A/J47? So is the fabric very stiff? Also, can you also advise how one should evaluate the right jacket size based on the jacket measurements?thanks!

In regards to the face fabric, yes, it's very stiff. 3L Goretex is pretty much the stiffest goretex you can grab, and how waterproof the jacket is reflects that. In regards to sizing, I'm about 5'10, 145 pounds, and the jacket fits as shown in the video. I don't tend to hop into sizing all that much with Acronym pieces because it can be incredibly variable, and people enjoy different silhouettes out of specific jackets (while I'm a classic medium, I've had jackets be a size small, and a size large, and work for me just as well). If you're on the fence between two sizes with this jacket, I might recommend to size down because of how rectangular the cut of the jacket is. I hope that's of some use!

This jacket my be my first acronym jacket I've just picked up 2 Nike ACG Misery Ridge Gore Tex jackets, ACG 4th Horsemen Jacket for heavy winter and Jordan Gore tex Utility. Trying to build up my tech wardrobe want to get a 2 Acronym, 2 C.P Company and 2 stone island.

If i can recover my old SSD of the laptop i wrecked last week, I can try to share the whole archive I extracted from the wayback machine and the full 600 pages f the acrm sufu thread. Quite a lot of data on there, but I dont recommend seding the hours and hours I spent on the process of going through it, if someone already has archived all that. I'öö try to share it with the community in some way, if possible.
