Both series were shot roughly the same time. The Aussie one had more involvement from Johnny from what I understand. The budget for the show was much more limited than the UK version and the production time was much shorter. Plus I think there was a willingness to experiment and push the show into a semi reality show format - especially as some of the Gladiators have very large social media followings - which unfortunately only slowed the pace of the show down to a crawl. I'm investigating doing an edit of an episode down to 45 mins (1 hour with ads) to see if the pace can be improved. I'll post it here if I ever do it.

I just realized; the mandem predicted the plot/prologue cutscene for Modern Warfare Zombies. Terrorists found an Aetherium vial, broke it and caused a localized zombie outbreak
