LOL @ the Oscar the Grouch cameo 😂 Regarding the lid closing prematurely, if i want to spend extra time scraping food off a plate into mine, I just manually lift the whole big lid and the Reencle temporarily pauses the paddle rotation until I close the lid again. The plastic filter cartridge can be disassembled and refilled with whatever bulk activated carbon you can find on Amazon for much cheaper (I like the AC Infinity brand). You might have to stick a coffee filter over the exposed gratings if you use flake charcoal like me rather than the OEM pelletized ones. Mine last a lot longer, though, due to the superior internal surface area of the medium.

I just got this and have used it for up to 20mins. I'm wary about pushing it beyond 30mins in a single use. But I'll say at the highest resistance setting, it gives a decent burn as you move. The bands are great for upper body workouts but I use them more for stability as this is simply to get in my steps each day during the winter months. It's handy, compact and does a good job.

3 years ago, after ankle and foot injuries from running, I bought into the theory of barefoot and eased into barefoot running very gently and slowly and incrementally, over 6 months increased distance and speed on a treadmill, with rest days in-between sessions. This has culminated recently in a 20 km barefoot trail racing, and my feet feel stronger, my injuries have strengthened, and I never roll my ankle ever

I TOTALLY agree with you!! The Arahi is an awesome stability shoe, but definitely does not work for speedwork for me. Which is great because I'm a slow, long distance runner. I'm wearing my Cliftons for the Chi Marathon, and I know my feet will thank me.

I found this video really helpful. I’m 69 years old and I’m prediabetic. For some dumb reason, Medicare won’t cover a CGM monitor so prices a concern for me. If you plan on researching this topic further, can you look at low cost option. For example, Costco sells the 2 pack Libre monitor for under $70 bucks and the Libre app is free. So I’m thinking, why not use the my fitness app or recording the meals, and the free Libre app for the readings.

It seems like Adidas got their brains back. The "vegan" (plastic) shoes are gone and the leather is back. - Much better for you and the nature. Still too expensive though: 130 or 150 dollars, it's sick. The sizes are weird as hell and small, absolutely not true to size (not TTS) even adidas claim this, one of few shoes I have 1-2 sizes bigger. If you for example normally wear size 42/42,5 you gonna need in adidas stan smith size: 43 1/3. Not the 42, not the 42 2/3 but the 43 1/3.

Can you create an incline? Have something that you can put under the treadmill that creates a small incline? If so, what?
@FitnessFinance4u10 күн бұрын
Sure you could. But every time you moved the treadmill you would have to create another incline. Still looking for a treadmill/walking pad that has its own. Much more convenient.

So once the bag of Ka’chava is opened it needs to be used within 3 to 4 months? I wonder if the powder was poured into mason jars and then sealed with one of those gadgets that suck all the air out and seal the lid on tight would make it last longer.

Those are nice! I’m thinking of grabbing a pair since i already own the real adidas Stan smith leather ones. The new ones that you have use vegan leather not as good like the ones I have (original leather). Your Lux shoes look good with anything but to up your game you can always buy different colors in the Lux variants 😉 that would be cool! I wear other adidas too don’t get me wrong I love ultraboost and nmds depends on my mood or outfit.

A question about tennis: when you run "just to run", jogging style, you naturally use your forefoot. OK. But when you play tennis, you're supposed sometimes to stand on your heel or at least strike the ground with it first. So I guess the result is quite different, isn't it? The thin sole is not absorbing the shock, so it might be harmful... I've just bought Merell minimal shoes and only used them for walking.
@FitnessFinance4u11 күн бұрын
After playing tennis in them for a while, I decided it was best to back to "tennis shoes". I think ASICs has some good ones.
