You can actually get cushioned zero drop shoes, like the Altra Lone Peaks, or actually most of Altra's shoe varieties now that I think about it. They only make a couple of shoes that aren't zero drop.

7:30 I do think that "normal" shoes with a narrow toe box looks ridiculous now after 15 years in minimalistic "barefoot" shoes. It's a matter of perspective. People's thoughts on this are so shaped by the consensus of what a shoe should look like and a fear to be different.

True, I guess it is a matter of perspective.

These look cool! I’ve transitioned over to using Lems “barefoot” shoes and have really been loving them. They have a much higher stack height than Xeros or Vivos so they’re probably considered a transition shoe; but it’s been great for me to find the happy medium between regular shoes she barefoot shoes

I like lems and xero! Lems are much nicer looking and i use them as my casual nice looking shoe. I have the xero hfs 2 for running/working out. I also have vibram 5 fingers and one paur of vivo boots.

Nice. And yes, these LONO's are pretty comfortable.

It can take longer than a year for some, like myself. Im on year 2 almost and it's been so hard. Haven't been able to work a physical job because of it. If you're like me coming from wearing old cushioned narrow nikes 24/7 and I mean 24/7 they practically went to bed with me, it will take quite some time.

I appreciate you sharing your experience with barefoot shoes!

Besides the heel to toe ration in the zero shoes, how do you get arch/instep support?

I don't seem to need arch or instep support with these shoes. However, not sure how it would be for people with high arches.
