I've went to the website mentioned in your videos but it takes me to some place in Minnesota. I wanna fish the ohio river in indiana. Is that possible or am I looking in the wrong place?

I have a similar model. It’s Mossberg 190 16ga. bolt action. I’ve been running slugs mostly through it since that’s what is mostly available in my area. But she is a very sturdy and reliable gun. Very little to complain about. Especially for the prince you can get one for.

So I just bought a used slugster very similar to yours from a gunshop. Can't find the serial number on it. Any hints?

Notice that was the same stand you got that big one out of and what type of gun is that a slug gun perfect for that area especially open sights on it definitely more of a challenge

Nice, well done, Look how thick his neck is. Hey were you going for a high shoulder shot? Most guys don't anymore, but that's what my dad taught me 50+ years ago.

Good idea but go for flour. That will clog up fish guts, death. Other species will eat catfish bait. Just a thought. Good video content.

I have this same one do they make other magazines for this shotgun And how can I put a scope on it.
@User_Brandon Жыл бұрын
I saw 5 round mags for them, and they would have to be drilled and tapped by a gunsmith for scope mounts. Not sure which mounts would work but I reckon most two piece weaver bases should do the trick, be sure to ask a gunsmith though

Shooting that nice one last year probably made this one easier to pass up. Were you able to get in the stand anymore after this?
@bellbucksnbeards2 жыл бұрын
Yeah getting nice ones the last two years has definitely made me pickier. I didn’t get out anymore in firearm season but I may try again in muzzleloader season. Thanks for watching!

Nice job! Good video you covered all the basics! I’ve just purchased and am restoring a couple Mossberg bolt action shotguns both in 20 GA, These very old and inexpensive shotguns sold in the late 1940’s & 1950’s are still performing well! Nice buck too!

Thanks! I’m in the stand right now with the mossberg again. Hopefully I get a chance at something.

@@bellbucksnbeards Well good luck as I hear that Indiana once again made the Top 15 most underrated deer states! Check out my Mossberg video when you're back at home. I'm planning on comparing it to the SAVAGE 220 full rifled barrel next year. kzbin.info/www/bejne/raTGpJ9qiadkrdE

Good video, my pocket / hunting knife similar to yours is sharp too but I use my filet knife or my bone knife seems to work better for me especially when I'm working on bigger pieces of meat.

I agree, I used a small fillet knife the last time I cut breast out of a turkey I got and really liked using it and will be using more.
