Just bought a Delkevic exhaust for my 1992 CBR600F. There are absolutely no instructions included with the exhaust which I found very disappointing. Finding this video has helped but the complete lack of any form of instructions is pretty poor really.

How is the airflow on this comparable to the airflow on a performance 4 into 1 exhaust? E.g. If I get an ECU flash, would it have the same parameters as any other cat delete exhaust?
@DelkevicExhaustsАй бұрын
It's a 1970s technology exhaust developed purely for the looks and sound, not performance. It's based on the actual real original Z1/Z900 exhaust so of ocurse it's not going to match a performance exhaust.
@TheWsbking28 күн бұрын
@@DelkevicExhausts That makes sense- I'm not worried about performance. Would a dyno tune be necessary to prevent a lean running condition, or is the restriction on this exhaust close enough to stock that I can get away without tuning it? I'm worried about longevity of the valves if I don't get a tune.

@lusoprazer24 күн бұрын

Having found no information relating to torque settings, either in the generic guide on delkevic uk website, nor on the specific Suzuki dl650 mkI guide, I torqued up the clamps with an educated guess to 9Nm on both my DL and more recently on my new RE Hunter 350. Only by chance did I just come across this extremely helpful tutorial (but mentioned nowhere in the delived packages) and now find out that 8Nm is the correct torque for the clamps. Well, nothing snapped, so I'll leave both installations as they are. I assume they should be ok. PS, the 350mm oval sounds great on the V-strom and the more open 225mm oval sounds absolutely fantastic and befitting of the plodding long-stroke Hunter single ...and without even being overly loud (both with baffles in for a more refined and warmer sound).

Last week i have ordered this full exhaust system for my Deauville and hopefully have it within a few days. Cant wait to hear that beautiful sound and feeling the power and torque increase. I have now an AliExpress leovince with (fake) e-mark on it. Fun but lost my low end torque, also a lot of bangs and lost the deep bass sound of the exhaust. I do believe delkevic will bring that back. I have one question though. In the video is said that no feuling modifications are necessary. But if i understand it correctly, it would be a preferable option to do some feuling modifications to get the best power. Can i also assume it can make more power (with a other jetting and full delkevic system ) than on the video above?

Will this fit the new generation '23 to '24 model? From what I can tell, they are the same exhaust except for they no longer add the heat shield on the collector of the header. Since this exhaust has the brackets welded on, I would just have to purchase a Triumph heat shield from up to a '22 model to make it the same. I just need to verify that the bracket spaces are the same. Do you know these numbers yet? Thank you in advance!
