Greetings Delkevic friends, I have a new 2023 Suzuki DR 650, and I purchase a 14 inches carbon fiber slip on. I'm having some concerns about the strap, it feels like is going to crush the carbon fiber if I connect the strap ends and bolt in, it feels so much tension. Is this the way to go? Please, assist me with this situation. Do you have a specific and detailed video to install this carbon fiber slip on? The design and quality is amazing, I don't want to damage it. If you use some silicone spray on the strap and fit it according to the instructions in the video you should be fine, the strap will not crush the carbon tube if it is done according to how it is shown in the video.

I recently purchased a carbon muffler system that came with the polymer strap and the rubber insert for the stainless strap , does it matter which strap is used with the carbon muffler ? as I prefer the stainless on carbon look .

Hi, no it is up to you which one you fit, as long as the starp is fairly tight and secure without being excessively tight then either is fine.

One of the most frustrating things I've ever tried to do. The install was so easy and now I'm stuck on this nonsense. No matter what I do, it won't stay in place. Wish I could just buy a carbon fiber strap and be done with it. My bike is a Kawasaki z900rs and I bought the round stainless SL10 14" muffler to go with the complete system..

Hi, we don't like hearing that our customers have problems with any of our products which is why we produced videos like this one for their benefit. Although you're not entirely alone in struggling with these straps (hence why we did the video) the vast majority have no problems. Everything you need to know to do this is contained in the video. If after watching it a few times times, you're still struggling then it's time to think outside the box.... are all the parts correct? Have you confirmed this? Do you know anyone else who might be able to have a look at it? A fresh pair of eyes is sometimes all it takes to make a seemingly impossible task possible. Don't forget you can call the sales/tech office for your locality for help if you need it, they are always willing to help out.

Hmmm... did it wrong and didn't know it had a plastic covering. Directions with the new exhaust would have been nice. So, now it's been corrected.

I htink it was just determiend to be the easiset most convenient compromise regarding production, shipping and fitment. Most people don't have any issues with it.

@@DelkevicExhausts interesting. I'm sure it's convenient for you guys, but there's plenty of people that struggle. Add that extra 1percent & do it for the customer, so that we don't have to.

We have tested the kits ourselves and the 650 was fine as far as I know, please call the numver in the video for your loacality and talk to one of my colleagues :)
