Thank you for this series. Have not seen it before. Rhodes started out as a nice person it seems, but the greed overtook him.

I wish somebody would finally tell the truth about Cecil Rhodes and that is he arrived in the southern part of Africa, where the natives were living in the Stone Age and within four generations, he had taken them from the Stone Age to the space age, but there were creatures in Rhodesia Who were spiteful and jealous of Cecil Rhodes and everything that the settlers had accomplished so they joined in with the Chinese communist, Mugabe and the Russian communist under nkomo to destabilize the nation and turn it into the absolute cesspool that it is today all because of jealousy, greed, and spite

From Oxford universitys finest son to now being cancelled by some pathetic wokies who know nothing. No one in authority dare defend anyone accused like Rhodes either. Despite this, his Rhodes scholarship is enjoyed by many foreigners to this day. Sad a great man like him is forgotten.

Its a wrong story abt Lobengula and his tribe... Dats now how we know it........ Anywei why use south africans to act and tell us abt our Zimbabwean history.... Wow, one of the best British TV series of the 1990s. Magnificent story, landscapes, music. Rhodes was an amazing man. Flawed? For sure as are all the great men.
