I don’t think Microsoft realized that within the next year or so, many people would stop using cable. I barely knew anyone who populated that HDMI-in port. However for some reason as a kid I believed that this was actually revolutionary. I see this today like “bruh no one cares about cable”

It's 2024 and the xbox is being outsold 5 to 1 by Playstation. Microsoft truly never recovered from this boneheaded presentation. It makes one wonder if at this point they should just stop making consoles entirely and stick to cloud gaming services/gamepass for other devices, including previously sold xbox consoles. They are done.
