So this kinda cleared things up while confusing me even more - I just have beaten the game and in the credits the credited voice actors. However, my version has not a single line of voice acting, no robo cutscene (even though he appears in a shot of all the main characters driving) and just a couple of text boxes when you win - might this be the case with the PAL Version of this Game? I'll search for an NTSC-J Version to see if it's different there

Yeah I think that was just the fast way of localizing stuff at the time. They just removed the Japanese things.
