Way better before tge sanding

Beautiful job! However scratching with sandpaper is a little harsh. A dip in a vinegar lemon juice water mix, or a rub with bicarb soda/vinegar paste and a good brushing may not get a mirror finish but it will still shine and impress. Brass is one of those metals of which the character of the figurine can be improved when tarnish is left in the cracks and crevices. A little overkill, but nice mirror effect.

I'm not showing this to my local snappers. They'll think their shells are underappreciated how you took most of the texture off. Honestly I feel insulted for them but the good news is they're scared of me so I probably wont even be able to let them know (they probably wouldn't care anyhow) 🤣

glad i saw this. dude was gonna give me a set of horns to put on my car, o ne got drug off by something so I'll mount the one as a rhino horn. Was wondering if i could run an rgb strip on something up the middle to light it up. I now know it will work

A cabinet scraper (sharpened correctly) would save a lot sanding at the early stages.
