The strides between the jumps were not necessarily wrong. He was running around the arena like a freight train, so the poles just said “hey, back off a lil.” One of the biggest mistakes I made when training my thoroughbred we lengthening all strides if he struggled to fit himself in, because he now does not have the necessary muscles to sit back and jump from an energetic, but shorter strides canter. In the end, this will benefit this horse more so than hurt the horse. Near the end, you can see he is not longer struggling with the striding as much, because he learned how to adjust himself. If a horse is going on a move collected canter and can’t make it work, yeah, probs needs more room. But this horse did not in my opinion.

Good job Mr Bobcat. Another rodent goes onto his great reward as digestible calories for the predator.

Mmmmm..yummy! He even licked the ground where there was still some morsels left. The little gopher was still kicking when he started eating his head. That’s hard core. 😆

I have to agree with other commenters, the striding is off and it can change with each horse. It seems the ground poles between the jumps are messing up the horses a bit but I think Utah jumped so beautifully. He is gorgeous and as a jumping trainer I'd love to ride a horse with so much jumping potential to see how far I could take him. Take everything in stride(lol), great video! :)

People, we don’t have to point out that the striding is wrong like a hundred times... it’s already been said, no need to talk about it anymore

coyotes are infamous for killing and eating domestic cats. Because of the distance involved, i think the coyote mistook the bobcat for a domestic cat. He probl'y would've got the shock of his life if he had actually caught up to him!

Trying to bite a bobcat that can bite you back and has razor blades on every limb. Ouch!
@artdogg502 жыл бұрын
@@jefferyschirm4103 Coyotes are actually bigger and stronger, which most people don't seem to want to believe. A big coyote isn't afraid of a smaller bobcat, even though it may appear that way. Most animals prefer to kill much smaller prey, especially prey that is more defenseless. In this case the bobcat appears much smaller and knows not to have a direct confrontation unless cornered. People watch a lot of these videos and assume too much. Truth is a lot of these battles will rarely happen and if they do, it'll be a back and forth thing with no clear winner. A lot of it is territorial.

Out in nature things are supposed to play out its nature course. Unless a species is endangered, humans really aren't supposed to get involved. It stinks sometimes but that's just the way it is.
