Your video helped me to set up but when I connected my external hard drive it’s says ‘read only’ and it doesn’t allow me to do anything with the hard drive. Please help me TIA

Sandisk xpand is junk, don’t buy it. It’s been defective since day one and the app they demand you to download won’t be supported. Sandisk is junk and I will never buy another product from them after they sold this xpand garbage

Hi. Thank you for these instructions. However, I ordered the exact SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD you specified, but today is the first I've used it transferring photos off my iphone 13. The 4th batch of photos that I started to transfer I got an error message "We found errors on this drive. To prevent data loss, repair this drive now." After about 10 minutes, I received "Windows was unable to repair the drive...." and try again. I've tried twice. It's not working. Now I see that this SSD has a high failure rate. It's the first time I'm using! Is there another one you can recommend or should I just exchange for the same again. For $250+ I would expect to last. Please advise. Thank you for your help!

Honestly I never thought of getting a karaoke machine unitl I tried out the Break x1 at CES this past week. Sounded amazing! Having everything in a nice portable package with the sound options and quality and the screen and apps seem to make it a no brainer.

Thanks this is very helpful. Should it also work with a mophie charger that has two usb ports? I tried it but the phone still does not recognize the external hard drive. (phone has lightning on one end, USB into mophie, and the external hard drive is plugged into mophie via usb. Phone does not recognize the external drive, but just wondering. I will order the adapter and the usb hub, but why wouldn't this concept work without the adapter if I have a usb/lightning plugged into the mophie charger?

When I plug the external hard drive into my PC (not Mac) I am getting an error when trying to play my videos. Is there something I need to do differently?

Hi, my files are adding a dot before the file name and after moving over 700 videos to the external hard drive, it is giving me an error when I try to play them from the drive. "This file isn't playable. That might be because the file type is unsupported, the file extension is incorrect, or the file is corrupt." Is this because I had them upload to a specific folder on the drive?
