I have a lot of hours on this game, my favorite character is the watcher, I have killed the fading spider b**ch who has 999 hp (I forgot what it was called), I have gained over 12,000 money (I had golden idol and didn’t buy from shops that often), I have one hit killed a boss (I had prismatic shard, vajra, inflame, limit break, spot weakness, and heavy blade), and I have beaten the game 4 times. I am a legend at this game

My one quibble is about Runic Dome. The Defect is so self-contained it typically doesn't matter that they can't see intent. What would they change? Where the lightning goes? Wait to evoke dark because the wrong enemy is weakest? How much frost to channel? A lot of The Defect's choices are taken away inherently. Meanwhile, having 1 extra energy is never bad. The other three may have to weigh Runic Dome heavily or play with the wiki open, but not always Defect.

Taking a rune i felt uncomfortable with was how i got my first ascension! Coffee relic on ironclad wasnt bad and the early extra energy really helped!

The Snecko Eye kills me more often than not, because I usually don't have a deck that works with it.

How do so many of his cards cost 0 energy? I’m just starting this game and I see these guys play like 10 cards a hand and get 6 energy and a million relics. How???

Why did you quit making videos or streams?

So many of these are like “try and kill them by the second turn” and tbh I’ve never dealt 200 damage in a turn so whenever that’s suggested I’m like “okay so there’s no way to win this” because basically saying “kill the enemy fast” is not real advice

Bought this game yesterday and I love it. My favorite is definitely the poison assassin character, I got to act 3's boss first try (was my 3rd run in the game) and had I known about deck thinning, I would have definitely beat it. I rolled poison flask early and duplicated it and when I drew both with the 3 cost that makes every card cost 0 but you can't draw, I was racking up massive poison, and I never even got the skill that doubles/triples the poison :/ )

Can't emphasise how important it is to have small decks. You want good cards, and you want to draw them constantly. If you rely on drawing two cards at the same time, that can only reasonably happen regularly if the deck is very small. You can have something like Demon Form, Limit Break and Heavy Blade and just keep drawing Limit Break to double your strength and Heavy Blade to hit hard. You pretty much just need a bit of defence and that's all. I would consider maybe cards that help you draw even faster or pull cards you need from draw pile.
