Aesha has been a refreshing personality on reality tv, and now I realize how much we have in common. I have mixed feelings about medication where on the one hand if it helps then do what you need to, but on the other, from experience, I had a rough time with it since I only received a late in life adhd diagnosis during the 2nd year of my PhD. I was that person struggling despite being smart, for years, and while I did get on a stimulant medication for a bit, I also learned how to adapt by understanding myself better.

This is the most indepth interview I have ever seen of Aesha hearing her childhood, her natural optimism (*which is impressive esp within her family dynamic while growing up.) Also hearing about her family, her ADHD and how she got on Below Deck was interesting. She is such a lovely person inside and out. I like that Aesha is very open, honest and relatable. Hope you have her back again.

While studying English, I came across this incredible podcast by Dom, and Mr Henwood’s story is extraordinary. It truly makes a difference in the lives of the people in Auckland. In my current reality, this feels like a distant dream, but it is a necessary one, as my duty as a father is to raise a good human being, a better human being. However, as many studies show, the environment has an influence. My dream is to serve and protect a society with strong values - perhaps one day, New Zealand. Apologies for the outburst.
