I was a bit confused during Aerith’s ah… prickly situation, and so I didn’t really feel The same sorrow I did in the original, seeing her like that. I don’t think they showed enough of what really happened. That said, you know I still wept like a baby when that INCREDIBLE version of her theme played.

I was ugly-crying before I even took control of Aerith in this scene. The moment the camera spun behind here for me to start walking, I cried out “oh please don’t do this to me…”. This was the max pain moment of the game for me, even knowing what was to come at the end in the Forgotten Capital.

I feel like we will 100% see him again in part 3 where dr hojo turns him into some abomination

FFVIIR 3 - Remembrance

3:45 reminds me a lot of Eidolon’s from FFXIII, specifically that it not only sounds similar in rhythm, but I’m positive it’s used in the same key (I could also be thinking of the Dissidia remix tho). Am I going crazy?

This song right here the first time i heared it i thought "It is so beautiful but so sad in a strange way" then i realized it and it made total sense. Zack is my favourite character in FF7 and probably in all of my gaming life. We all knew Zack's original fate, his legacy was what remained alive. Now that Zack is in a state that isn't supposed to be in as intended by fate itself he's like an errant memory that is trying it's best to keep "alive". The nostalgia and the heroic tone in this song i think represents Zack and the sad part of the song is to remind us that the "world" he's in must be erased with him included. This is why i believe that all of this is happening in the Lifestream itself and not different universes or timelines. It's just FF7 expanded in a metaphysical way that was already in the original story but not as deep and developed in a massive way that affects the plot. God i love this project so much...

FF7 Remake, Rebirth and Reborn. Rebirth and Reborn are pretty similar but Reborn sounds pretty good, and better than Resurrection which is used in a lot of titles. Reunion would have been perfect but it was already used by the Crisis Core remake.
