Interesting. Maybe it’s a personality thing? We pretty much took turns sleeping with our puppy for 2 months since we got her at 8 weeks, until she was able to hold water through the night. The only training for alone time we did was crate training during the day by putting her into a crate for short periods of time with treats and us in the room. I guess she grew confident enough to know that we will eventually return and didn’t need us at night as much anymore. She’s fine with alone time now at 6 months.

We just got a toy poodle. She looks jusy like yours. She is 16 weeks old and learning fast. The biggest problem so far is jumping on us. I am not sure i have been correct in trying to stop this. What do you recommend?

Poodles can also be known as fussy eaters, but if you own a poodle, you'll know they're actually just waiting for something better 😁

Please speak in your voice, not Lotti's. It's very confusing and distracting.

I agree this is confusing talking about “my dog mother” and unsure if relating to you or your mum. I couldnt follow, maybe make it super clear next time

We have a springer crossed with a miniature poodle. He’s more wavy than curly but the size and temperament are definitely poodley.

Thanks for this honest video. I needed the encouragement. I'm a single guy and have a 11-week old poodle puppy and it's very tiring having and difficult having to spend almost all my time with him while raising him. The toughest part is teaching him how to be alone in a room by himself. He is not yet crate trained, so he gets upset when I leave him in the crate and he can't see me. I hope we can fix this. I sometimes wonder if I made a mistake getting him and I think about what I'm missing out on socially because of my pup. On the other hand, if I didn't have him (or another pet), I would miss that too. So, I'm kind of conflicted. We'll see what happens over the next month or so. Thanks again for your honest video and it made me feel that I'm not alone.

Take your puppy to a group training class. Not only will the training class help you teach your puppy, but you’ll also meet other puppy owners and get to socialize with them.
